The session will also highlight California’s updated lead standards, including lower exposure limits, expanded requirements for certain construction tasks, updated medical surveillance and removal requirements, and practical steps employers can take to update their compliance programs. The presentation will conclude with a look at OSHA rulemaking priorities and the outlook for 2027.

About Presenter: Alka Ramchandani-Raj, Littler Mendelson
Alka Ramchandani-Raj is a shareholder at Littler Mendelson. As an experienced employment lawyer with a concentration in Federal and State Occupational Safety and Health law, Alka Ramchandani-Raj assists employers with a wide range of complex situations with the workforce. Focusing on workplace safety and health, Alka assists employers with pre-injury/illness preventative practices, including site inspections and policy development.
