Updated Infectious Disease Exposure Control Plan

California has recently released additional guidance for all businesses in the construction sector, which requires updates to your Infectious Disease Exposure Control Plans. Please do not use the ones previously provided as those are now noncompliant.

Here is an updated Infectious Disease Exposure Control Plan that you can edit and use.

Because each workplace must have its own site-specific plan, comments are included indicating how the plan should be modified depending on where the worksite is located. Additionally, each California worksite should publicly post a completed checklist as recommended by the state. Each LA County worksite must also post the “Code of Safe Practices” on the last page of the attached exposure plan, though it is recommended by legal to post at every worksite outside of LA County as well.

**These samples are provided to you as guidance. Please share this with your legal team and/or other appropriate authority figures for review in order to tailor it to the specific needs and practices of your individual businesses.
